Glowsticks in water

I cut the ends of some glowsticks and let the liquid fall into water and a small amount of alcohol. This allows the liquid from the glowstick to form little balls and not dissolve in the water. Pointing a UV light at the jar of water then causes the glow stick liquid to fluoresce.
If you would like to attempt this please be sure to buy non-toxic glowsticks, and be very careful with the liquid as it will shine under a blacklight for years after if spilled on anything. The mix of water to isopropyl alcohol I used was around 3:1 but not specifically measured.
When dumping the liquid pour directly into something to absorb it entirely (old rag, lots of paper towels) preferably outside as it can stain sinks or stone countertops.
