Runcinia Spider

Camera: Canon Eos R8

Lens: 24mm-50mm kit lens, with 16mm + 11mm extension tube

A member of the crab spider family came to visit, I believe its a Runcinia, but I may be incorrect

I certainly didnt mean to get this angle for a spider, however it was one of my sharpest shots of it, after posing on the leaf for me it climbed down a web and disappeared into the dark back to its own life

After leaving my little spider friend alone I noticed the light hitting a rose, its bright and cheerful petals are a reminder to me that sometimes we just need a little help from someone else to reveal something beautiful hiding in the darkness, letting our true colors shine through.
