Mossy helps test a lens!
Camera: Canon Eos R8
Lens: Canon RF16mm F2.8
Today Mossy helped me test out a new lens by hiding around in the garden!
A wide angle lens can be used to create some interesting images, such as this one looking down a wooden pot while also looking into it.
Mossy inspected the new growth on the roses, he seems to approve!
This lens has a very short minimum focus distance, allowing little Mossy to fill the frame! Along with the distortion being a benefit in this case making Mossy appear larger.
Being such a short lens I’m able to move it to places my larger lenses just wouldn’t fit, not to mention far too close for focus.
Mossy looked up to the sky wondering if the rain would come and help his little strawberries grow, or maybe he just saw a fly…
