Refractography

Camera: Canon Eos R8

Lens: None

Refractographs are photographs of the intricate patterns and shapes formed when light reflects and refracts through an object. Unfortunately I still need a little practice with it to get better results!

These images were taken by removing the lens from the camera and having the bare sensor exposed, due to the danger of damaging the incredibly delicate sensor I attached a protective lens filter to an extension tube to block anything from getting into the camera.

This unfortunately caused the results to be slightly more blurred than they could have been, I still like how these came out though! I’ll be trying again with a different setup sometime soon.
